Darry & Jonny's Loss Of Innocence

Authors note: This essay is about The Outsiders and how the theme of the loss of innocence is shown through the characters Darry and Ponyboy.

To me, the “loss of innocence” is when a person who is always doing good/right for others is tricked into doing something  that  is bad and they kind of make you bad & or Someone makes their life horrible. A lot of the time it happens to someone that something bad h                     Johnny and Darry are perfect examples of how the loss of innocence is a main theme throughout the novel The Outsiders.

First of all, Darry is an example of someone who lost his innocence through no fault of his own.
He lost his innocent’s when his mother and father died in a tragic car crash. He then had to become an adult /parent/provider for his younger brothers. And doesn’t let him be a kid like he needs.

Next off, Johnny had his loss of innocence when he got jumped by the Soc's and was broadly injured. He then told the greasers about it and everything became a catastrophic. He was then forced to become violent. And now he is unable to be the way he was before. He is now rougher than before   

Third of all, some real life examples of losses of innocents is, when the U.S.  Was attacked by terrorist on 9/11 on the twin towers. This became a HUGE part in the U.S. history. The president’s had deducted a lot of their attention to the 9/11 attack. This being a great example of a loss of innocents because, 9/11 left the U.S. vulnerable, but we are now leaving 9/11 prepared.

There is a ton of other examples like one from a movie, one example is a movie call "in time" This movie has a huge loss of innocents when one of the main characters mothers dies. He is then forced to live alone at a very young age. The other main character is kidnapped away from her mother and father from the same person and her life get taken away almost to the complete end of it. She is then made to steal money from her own father (owner of the bank) and her and her new husband (her kidnaper) start becoming little futuristic robin hoods.

Pop Out themes of the story!!

In the book “The outsiders” Some of the themes are Tragedy, suspense, & Irony. These are the 3 themes that
popped out the most to me.

I found suspense in the part when Pony boy was telling us about when his point of view on when he was about to fight edger. This book had a lot of suspense from all the drama that goose on in a gang member’s life. Some party of the story had more than the other’s. But that the author separated/spaced out some of the suspense was excellent because I don’t like it when an author has so much suspense in one part of the story than others.

I found Tragedy In this book when at the end of chapter 9 Pony boys Brother (Soda Pop) Died. An when Pony boys other brother Darry Slapped I’m across the face and he thought that what Darry did just proved his point that he’s mean. But the main tragic part is when pony boys tells us about his loose of his mother and father and how they died. This theme of the story was kind of the main one because there was tragedy all throughout the book witch made it kind of read able cause it was so instance

One of the last themes is, Irony. Their was a lot/plenty of irony in this book with all the deaths and how people where beating one another up. Also how their where many people going to the hospital with horrible injures. Once more the part when Pony boy and their parents die. It was really sad, most likely the saddest part/s. This theme is very tricky to put into a book because with to much of it, it make the book kind of sad and depressing.!!!

The hidden witch

Authors note: A frighting tail about a young boy who find out hes from a powerful clan and has to choose witch side he wants to be on, The Angels side -or- The Demands side.

Although I only lived here for about a month now, I already was hearing a tone of rumors going on about the old house on the corner between sunny road and Denser. So far I been hearing that “I been in that house but came out emotionally scarred.” And “Someone I knew went into their and never came out alive. Although everyone’s telling me this now I already knew that there was something weird/wrong about this place. The vibe was weird and everybody seemed like they were trying to hid something or like their trying not to be seen. The only people who were normal where the people that are always on the lawn of the old abandoned house.

With everything that I heard about that house I never got why they would want to go on that yard. I started to think to my self “Has everyone been lying to me or fooling me about that house”. I slowly walked up to the house just to say hi and figure out why everyone was saying these things and if their lying or not. Although I already know that they’re going to say that those people where lying, knowing anyone would. I still wanted to know why they are going around. As I was almost to their yard my “friend” Jeffry ran up from behind me, slammed his hand on my shoulder and spun me around with a lot of force.

“ WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!!!!!” He silently yelled in my ear. “Going to go meat the people everyone says is ‘evil’” I reply back with air quotes around “evil”.As he just stared at me with the most craziest look I slowly turn back around. Jeffry tried to turn me around again. I jerked my arm forward and kept walking. When I finally got up to the yard I slowly stuttered “hello?!” and shined them a little smile. They quickly looked at me and started whispering that sounded a lot like snakes. I quickly ask “Are you ok?” I stare at them in shock as they jump at me. I stood there as my bones where locked warded out and a little scared for my life. Right be they finally where able to catch me I spaced out and ran after Jeffry. But I could not see him so I just ran in waves and curves, any direction to get these “Little kids” off of my trail.

Every time I looked back it seemed like they were getting closer and closer, and didn’t know how much longer I could run away from them. After a minute of running and stop to think. “Why am I running away from two little kids?”  As I turn around and look at them I see that their no longer just little kids. When I looked at them I didn’t see them anymore I saw 2 hairless creatures, they had really long black claws, and their was someone dressed in all black. Right be for I turn around I fell two very odd-feeling objects fly past the side of my head. With my mouth open wide I see the 2 weird creatures fall to the ground and the person in all black running toward me. In a matter of seconds I fell something or someone grabbing onto my arms and pull me to fast everything just goose into a cuddle vague. As fast as I thought we were going I could still see the lady in black getting closer and closer to me, until she slammed her hands on my face and took a sudden stop.

As she was holding my head I could hear a soft wispier as my ears were in being annoyed like crazy there was a ringing like a bell in them. As my eyes slowly water from the pain and all the wind this hitting my eyes, I see to are with weird shaped tattoos on their arms quickly reach for the lady. In an instantI see the arms that are coming from behind me glow bright blue and hit the lady on the shoulders sending her back. As she hit the ground on her feet sliding. I was being picked up and was thrown onto my Nabors yard. I scoot back ward’s until I hit something hard onto my back. As I sat their holding my back tightly to stop the little pain I saw the lady in black fighting with big streams of light coming out of the hands, and eyes. I lowly get up with my mouth and eyes open wide I walked torrid them slowly. 

The boy in blue glanced at me and pushed the lady onto her back and ran towards me. “You need to come with me” he said. But as soon as he finished a very sharp object went right threw him. As I panicked in shock someone came from behind me and threw me onto the very rough grass thus knocking me out. As I woke up in a daze I could hear only 2 voices a guys and a Lady’s.  As I try to scratch my head I had finally noticed that I was chained up to a ceiling 100 feet about the ground. As I watched the 2 people on the ground I tried not to freak out much knowing that, that would attract their attention.

I try to slide my hands out of the hand cuffs but they kept making to much noise that I thought would make them aware that I was awake. As I was hanging their I saw two really buff men punching one another in the gut. It looked like they were trying to see who was stronger. I slowly started to wiggle my arms a little more knowing they might not hear me while their getting hit. I accidently jerk my body forward and the chains make a big rattle. I quickly look down and see the heading right up toward me, and they did not look happy. I try t get loss but I just can’t get them to budge at all. Right before that get to me I try to make it seem like I’m passed out still. As I fell a hot rush of air on my face.

As I slowly peek to look at them I hear one of them screaming “Hey, Master Misukie!!!!! He’s awake but trying to fake sleep!!!” After knowing that they knew I was faking I see the lady in black or Misukie rise up right in front of my face and push the other guys out of the way. “We-he-he-ell Wacky, wacky Mr. Sleepyhead.” She says softly laughing. “Who are you?”I ask her back with a worry voice. “As you may or may not already heard I am Master Misukie!!!!! I’m the queen of the demons.” She gloats to me as her voice turns deep. I stare at her in shock and ask her “W-well what do you want from me?” She stares at me very annoyed. “You don’t know yet?” She asks me “I thought your parent might have told you.” she tells me in a creepy tone of voice staring at tilting her head.

The two behind me slowly come from behind me holding out their hands. Fog slowly shapes between both their hands. Slowly appearing an image of my mother and father. Being attacked in my old house when I was four. As I watch them be brutally murdered Misukie comes from behind me and grabs onto the chains. I fell them start to heat up and that heat is starting to get a little intense on my hands. Right as I could smell my own flesh burning my hands dropped down to my side. Instantly I was thinking I was going to fall to my death, I slightly fell then I felt someone behind me grab me really tight and threw my agents the wall. As I gasp for air and clutch the wall trying to push myself off of it, I fell two very sharp objects go the my ears. 

Running out of breath I try to scream my best to let someone know I’m in trouble. As I try to push out as much sound as I can Misukie rushes over to me and forces her hand over my mouth. “You need to be quiet be for you really get heart!” She says staring at me with rage. I slightly stair back in fright as tears run down my face from the pain. When she slowly takes her hand off my mouth I try my best to get out of the two guys clutches. “You just don’t give up do you?!!!?” She yells. “Roderick, Max…. let him go!” Their hands slowly let me lose. But in an instant she yells “sick him.“ she says in a whisper. Still stuck to the wall from being thrown agents it I see the same exact creature that was killed with those blue beams of light. 

It got closer and closer as I struggled to get de-attached from the wall. When it finally reaches me, it hits me with full force with its head and smashes me threw the wall. As I slide agents the wet grass the same man with blue tattoos comes from behind me and strops me from sliding into a electric box. “Stay down” He says to me. In so much pain I take a small glance at him. After he starts running all I see Was some sort of blue fuss. Being my curious self I got up from the ground even though I was in a lot of pain and sat their trying to see what was going on. As my vision started to clear up I saw flashing lights coming from the hole in the wall that I had came crashing through. As I slowly rise I fell a powerful rush of air sweep me off my feet just enough to get me over the electrocution box.

Realizing I have not been electrocuted yet, As I slowly lookdown I see that I am hovering over the box. Trying not to let what’s ever going on stop I try to stay as still as I possibly can. I slowly start to look around to see what going on and I see the two people righting on the ruff but I can tell that they have something to do with this. Before it’s too late I slowly get onto my hands and knees and try to walk across the air that I could see flowing with the water. As I started to reach the grass away from the electricity I started to fell burns hitting my arms. I quickly scramble accrues the air bridge. As soon as I look up I see the man in blue die the same way as the first woman did.  Right before I crossed the electricity parameter I was dropped.……..

Do you think if the government gave people with less money a clothing stamp card (Similar to food stamp cards)

 Authors note: This essay is to tell people that it might now be good to let people get away with to many things for free and it may give people the thought that they don't have to do anything if they get something back for free.

To me, if the government gave people with really low money a card that would help them with clothing items or things like that, that the people who are getting these cards would be able to feel like they don’t have to work at all if they get something’s for free. Would it be good if the government gave a clothing card (like food stamp card) to the people who don’t get paid enough money to buy clothing for them sleeves or anyone who lives in that house hold? 

The U.S.A people are already become jobless and or not trying to keep a job because they would rather stay home all day and watch TV or be on the computer. This would just make people in the U.S.A lazier because there’s already a food stamp card for you to get free food and then if they were able to get free clothing to? People still need to feel like theirs something that they have to work at to get.

People in the U.S.A would be super upset because their putting more of their money into the things they buy just so that the people who don’t get the amount of money that they get can just start to get things for fee. And none the less their already having to put money into a food stamp card. If the government doses this, this would be more money that would have to come out of peoples pay check and would go into taxes. So for some of the people who would have to pay for their own things would be ferrous because this would be making them poor as well until everyone’s just completely poor. That/This would create another a 2^nd depression.

Everyone has to pay a lot of tax like $1.30 then if there was more tax it might be up to 2-3.50 dollars. When and if the government makes this “card” and someone that has to pay for everything with their money finds out or if they make a little too much to get it might buy some of the money from the person who get them. Then eventually that person may purposely try and do something so that they get all of the money and don’t have to spend money on the other person and buy thing they don’t need.

PAINT BALL WAR!!!!!!!!!!

It was a very Wind day and it was my friend Jacob’s birth day. We are going to go to a paint ball ring. During lunch all Jacobs been talking about is how his team is going to beat everyone ells, and how we’re going to play “Don’t Get Hit”.  “Don’t Get Hits” is a game that we all made the last time we went paint balling and we ended up waiting in line for 25 minutes, And when we finally got in there we tested it out and it was actually really fun but really complicated. When you play instead of you have to be running around or do something that would be really hard for the person to hit you, then there would be one team in the middle of the yard and they would keep trying to shoot you. If they got you, you would have to join their group. But the trick is your whole team can’t move at all BUT rotate.

As it seems quiet complicated when you 1^st start I get easier and easier because you start to get the hang of it since most of them just go around the hole place doing cart wheels and stuff like that over and over a gene. But this time Jacob made a rule that you have to be moving all sorts of ways and not just clock wise. I think he did this because he wants it to be hard. Even though he’s not good at thing when they become too hard for him. But knowing him for his birth day we are going to do it and we want to see him go crazy and see how he will act.

When school lets out we all look around for out moms so they can drive us to the paint ball ring. Once we  finally get their we all get out of our cars and split up into teams. We divided up into the smart ones and the athletic one. Jacob and I where both in the athletic teams and so where 3 other friends. When we got into the Place we saw that they had it upgraded. I think that it was an awesome up grade but Jacob was not happy because now we couldn’t play “Don’t Get Hit”.

Everyone was fine with not playing “Don’t Get Hit” but Jacob insisted that we try any ways. So when round 1 started we all ran like crazy and started shooting at one another. Jacob was not the best at this. He just hid behind a big bolder and waited for someone to come up to him to shot. Witch didn’t really work out for him to well, seeing that he was getting hit any ways.

During round 2 we tried to play Don’t Get hit but the place ways to long and wide. So we were allowed to movie but only left to right and within the group. After we all made the rule straight it was much more fun and easier. But a bit too easy cause in the middle of round 2 almost everyone got out so we stopped playing after this round.

When round 3 started it took us 3 minutes just to start. Even after we started things were going kind of slow. But after a minute all I could here was tons and tones of bullets going off at once. I was too nervous to even peek out the side of the huge hay stack to see what was going on. So every time anyone when up next to me I randomly shot in middle of the ring so that they could get across. It was easy for the hole team to do it at one but not Jacob. It’s like he was the only person they where after.  So I decided to start shooting at him to and then someone ells from my team also then so on and so forth.

After about 7 minutes out of nowhere we hear a huge scream”OK, OK I GIVE!!!!!!!’ And we saw him run out the door. We all laughed and went to the changing room/s. When we walked out of the changing rooms and went outside we didn’t see Jacob at all. We were starting to wonder if he ran home or what. While we were thinking my phone went off. Once looked at it was a text from Jacob. It read “thanks for the “GRATE” birthday. It was really fun being the only one hit at my own party!.... I hope you guys are happy with your selves! Now I’m covered in burses thank you very much. I HOPE I NEVER SEE ANY OF YOU AGEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  After reading the text I told the others and they all were in shock. Then one by one they got the same text. We started to feel really bad and started to try and contact him to say sorry but he wouldn’t answer. After 10 minutes Justin said ”Forget it  If he doesn’t want to answer our calls or texts then forget it why even try!!!” We all started to agree with him and just walked back home to see/speak to Jacob agene… until Monday.

Letter To Harry Potter & Friends

Hello Harry & friends,

When ever I read your book or watch your movies they are always very exciting! Theirs always something that is always interesting or exciting. But their are some very, very boring parts in it cause you guys are talking a lot of the time. I think that you guys should try and make is so that you guys have a little bit more activity or atleast Talk about something that dose not lose people. Thats the only bad part is that i have no idea what you guys are talking about so i don't know why you guys might get into fights. But luckly when you guys do I can slowy catch up with the story.

I know many people who love your movies because of the action, how it is a serieas, and how when you guys talk it is always sooo interesting. But theirs also an equwal share of people who don't like your book/movies cause its a way to slow paist. they are always saying that if it was at a faster paist that they would probably be all into it but their not?

Yelling & Screaming

When ever someone get really mad and or upset  they would let it out with something called yelling/Screaming. Yelling and screaming are two very different things. Because one of them you might do when someone dose something to one of your toys and you are so mad at them you wanna make them fell and know that they did something wrong. Screaming is when you might be crying and you want people to know so that they can help you. Most people do scream as much as they can if someone is robing them because they want someone to come and help them, or know that they are in trouble. Their are many different types of volumes of screaming

Hacking

Their are many different types of hacking the good hacking. And the bad hacking (illegal). Their are many reasons why someone would hack something/someone ells, Because you might want more money on a game or you don't like someone and u wanna delete their account and make them sad. Or you might be in the army and be trying to hack into the other teams base. But most hacking like taking people's accounts and trying to get your self a lot more money on a Online game is something that is not allowed in this country, but their are tones of people who hack. Even though they know that you are not allowed to do it in our country.Their has been many programs that the army use and it is starting to make it harder for the would to fell safe. Many people might be able to lose their personable stuff like credit card numbers, phone numbers, pin numbers, & etc! Even for some kids who like to play online games. you might be playing a game like wizards101 and you just bout 1000000 dollars of the game money (Our money less) Then you might be getting kicked off witch only happens when your info get loged into a another wizard101 home page and you might think its down. So you don't get on for a day or so and when you c'mon you see that all you wizard moneys are gone. You latter see that you gifted some guy you don't know 2 hours ago when you didn't even play 2 hours ago because thought the game was down. But now and days you might tell someone who works for wizard101/game company and they could give you those money back. but they wont they think that you might have given your account info to someone and they put it on a hack site so its your fault now and you start to get mad but theirs nothing for you to do now. You must then just face the face that you where hacked and that you must just deal with it.

Flood

When an area that get a flood it usually means that that area lives next to the sea/ocean and their was a rise of the water so much that it was able to come over the sea line and crate waves tall than buildings. They can also become rushes of water that like to make a ton of waves just be able to destroy a house in under 10 seconds. But the most damaged the a wave may be able to do to someone is that it could kill a lot and a lot of people and their family. That is the one think knowing that their homes will be under water and everything ells they care more about what might happen to the people that they know and love. When I see a wave on a site like CNN or something like that, it kind of makes me fell sad for those people because they would than have no food, no homes, no place to sleep, and for the most their where good people's lives taken from this tragic flash flood.When some floods happen it might just be a normal flood. Like you might have in your base meant their could be a leak in you pipes and everything down their might be filled with tones of water!!! Sometime people might catch it in time to fix it and save all od their stuff but most of the time since it's in a place where you don't usually go a lot you might not notice till you do. Their are many, many! Floods like this in wic every day because of all the construction near homes. They shake the pips until they burst!!

Their are many different types of stars. In fact our sun is one of these stars but this one is very bright because it is very big and some since test are to believe is that if you put a very tiny piece of it on earth you couldn't stand within of 2000 mil's of it because of it being so hot. But their are many other types of stars, Their are stars that are famous like, Miley Cyrus/Hanna Montanan, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, & Michale Jackson. These people are some of the most famous people in the music industry. they are some of the most know and liked people in the world, Mostly Michale Jackson  because he has been singing science he was a little boy with all of his brothers. But the one guy singer who is popular now is actually Justin Bieber. Now that Michale is dead. Even though all these peopleare really famous and a lot of people like them they also have a lot of people who might not like them. Because they might hate that their a good singer and or that they get all this fame and stuff while this  person is living out on the streets and they don't care about any thing but them salves. Sometimes for me i can think the same thing but i usually like all them all the time. Unlike some people who are just hatting on them when they could just like their music

Facts and fiction

Facts: Facts are when someone is telling you something that is true. When your doing a project and you have to find things about it that are real you might say that you have to find "Facts".

Fictions: A fiction is when someone is telling you something that might not be true. Most of the books in the world are usually fiction because those are the most popular types of books. A ton of people in the world are starting to wounder what books are real now that fictions is getting bigger and bigger.

Stranger Danger

All around the world their has been more and more problems with grown people going on kid chat site pretending to be a kid themselves. Even though kids know about all this their are still a lot of them who are falling for this keep coming up missing  from their homes and families. What i think is that it isn't the parents fault for letting them on those sites more than it its the children fault for going out and meeting up with the random person. Only if we were able to keep small children away from chat site for now we might actually be able to keep the kids from leaving and running away to go meet some weirdo.

When I'm happy

A lot of the time when I'm happy everyone ells seems to be mad, sad or bummed. But it never seems to bring me down. When I'm happy i always try to make other fell the same way. But sadly sometime that doesn't always work out very well. Their are a lot of people in the world/school who don't usually like to be happy all the time like me. Yet that doesn't matter to me I just wanna have fun. Not to have to be put down by anyone ells misery and sadness. Usually when someone ells is sad I might just ignore it and try and make them laugh. It works at times, But even if i get them to they still might be kind of bummed at the end. What make me happyer is that sometimes it works and that person and i will be able to have fun together.

What kind of make people sad or mad is that even when something sad or bad happens I'm not like them. I don't usually crying or get  bummed out when something like that happens. When i try to keep a good mood up about every thing some people might get really mad at me for that. It can kind of be a bummer but never to bad!!!!!

“The hundreath dove”

I found this book/writer to be very interesting because, there was a lot of parts in this short story that were kind of weird but yet interesting. I say this because there was a lot of thing that made this book unique. For instants 2the king said “In honor of my bride, the lady Columbia, whose name means dove and whose is celebrated in all the world, I wish to serve one hundred of the birds at our wedding feast.” That part kind of made this book start out like it was going to be really weird and nasty.

But as you continued on to read to see that the fowler had begged them not to eat doves at the wedding. “Please do not eat them sir!?” witch had kind of seemed like the king might actually change his mind? But sadly he didn’t and he was just starting to get mad.

Witch you wouldn’t be able to blame him because if your someone who wants something and your used to getting what you want. Than out of nowhere when you’re about to get married and someone tries to get out of doing what you told them to do you might also get mad too. (pg.1)

Their for when I was reading and saw that the fowler really didn’t want to go out and find a hundred birds it almost seemed like he was being forced to do it. The wedding was kind of like no other so what I didn’t get was why he would have to do this. After a while when the fowler was catching all of the birds that the king had asked for. He had seen a bird that he had thought about catching.

But what sucks is that when the king wanted a hundred doves he was thinking about that. Yet while he was thinking of just using the excuse of the king to find a way to get that bird he was also trying to ignore it. He was trying not to let those people kill the bird because he didn’t want that bird to get heart. That was almost a good idea because than he could just try to ketch the bird in his free time. When he dose Ketch it If he dose he’ll be able to keep it as a pet maybe. (pg. 2)

Among the betrayed

This book Among the betrayed is a story that makes you think more durring it ,Because it has a lot of parts that you might just not get casuse it's a complete different type of area in the book that is now being involved. For example

Everything that happens to nina was real. She had handcuffed her wrists. Real scars on her back. Real fear flooding her mind

Than it would go on. I am kind of thinking that this book might be one of those books that make you fell like you shouldn't let any younger kids read it because it might be a little to hard for them to read it and if they can read it, it might be a little to scary got them.

When i read this book it kind of made me think about all the other book that i read and to see how different they where to this book. This book kind of makes you think about how we are able to live in big family's that we do. If we might have had to live in smaller family's it might make everything in this world/jobs/school's weirder because we are all used to having someone living in the house with you or in the same room and than you just are never able to see them any more. It might be a little sad having to know that you best friend is now gone and you might not be able to see them grow up and be able to get a job or any thing like that. But some times some mom's and dads might hate the fact that they lost a kid but they might also be kinda weirdly happy that their is one less mouth to feed because they might be really poor and not have enough money to feed everyone.

My favorite memory is when my mom had showed me how to use a computer.

This Was when i was only 7 years old and i was watching TV and i had seen a commercial for Disney channel.com. Once I had finally Figured out what the name was called and found my mom i had asked her how to go to that. She had just seed "You have yo go onto the computer to play it." After a while, when she was don't doing what she was doing. She had went into the computer room with me to show me how to use a computer.As she was getting the computer ready to be used she had asked me something "You have had to use a computer at your school yet?" as she was loging into the computer i had not replayed.

After a while (x6) minutes have gone by and once my mom had gotten the computer all ready with the web site up and everything she had called me into the room. But she not realizing i was in the room standing right next to her, She kind of called my name really loud into my ear. That kind of made it had to hear her talking about how to play. But ofter a minute i was able to. But it was good timing because at that time she had just started to tell me about how to click on somethings and how to type in the name of the web site.

Although i knew how to type in games and move the mouse i didn't know how to do anything ells with the computer , Like to turn it on or how to turn it off. So as a kid i didn't want to tell my mom that i wasn't paying any attention the the first part of what she was telling me. But after a week or two my mom had started to wounder why I was not turning off the computer or would always ask her to turn it on for me. There has been a lot of people and [parents worrying about the internet because there are a lot of things on their that might be doing something to their kids and they might be worried about them. Some of them worry about them like this because some of their kids might be getting cyber bullied and or some kids that are kind of young or don’t know what they are doing might meet someone over the internet and after a while when he thinks that this s/he is really nice and cool. They might want to meet up with them somewhere and know what they are like in person and not have to just talk to them over the computer anymore. But by the time that the kid or teen gets to that person and meet up they figure out that what they are doing is wrong when it might be too late. This is why there are a tone of kid going missing every year. Because the kids let themselves think that there is no one that could be right for them. So they might think that there is some out their that could make them think that there is actually someone out their that could be their best friend.

Summer brake

How do you fell some people spend their summer brake?

During brake we get a lot of time that we get to do something that we want to do. You don’t have to worry about doing home work or anything like that. We would have to do school work or have to worry about grades. But when its summer time we don’t have to, we just have to worry about … nothing, but having fun and doing things that we might not do during school. Most people like Summer brake, Because they might get to relax and have fun. But, there are some people that have summer brake and they don’t like it because they don’t get to have fun. Some people might still have to do school. Like some people there are people that have to go to summer school.

For me I am the type of person that might not have to go to summer school and I would be able to relax. But I would still have to do other things that don’t let me have some time to relax and or have fun. Because I might have to do all these other things all summer that involve me getting up early and having to do something that I really don’t want to do. Some kids mom and dad might not like having their kids home alone while there are work because they are worried that something bad might happen to them when their no there.
Sometimes I don’t get why some parents don’t want their kids to be home alone even at the age of 11 or 12. To me that is the perfect age to start letting them stay at home. Or at least just letting them stay home when you might be going shopping. That could be a way that you start testing out how well they do when alone for a couple of minutes. Sometimes the parents might really be worried about their kid or kids so they might go out and buy some cameras. That theory might work but it is kind of of saying that you don’t trust you kid or kids. If some kids find that they might think that the parent thinks that they might be doing something wrong. That might just make the relationship between the kid and the parent/s kind of onward. Because, whenever the kid and the parent might talk or do something together it could be really weird for the kid science they might be worried that they will do or say something wrong that will make the mom upset in a way.

How do you spend most of your summer brakes?

Some of my summers I go to other states. So far I have gone to Ireland, Texas, California, & Canada. So far those places have been fun. Because, I get to see my family and be able to finally hand out with a lot of people that I used to know. But some times when I go there, there might be some bad type of problem that might make some of the things that make it hard to have fun is that area. Like we might go to Florida this summer, but we might not be able to go because there are lot of things that we might have to do to our house or our family. Because, we might have to be getting something new that we really need. Like a new car or, like this last summer we had to move to a new house so we couldn’t go anywhere.

irony

This book is a very weird type of book because it keep you thinking about what is going to happen next. Like for example, If you where reading a part of this book and the someone in the book (General of the camp grounds see) " You are all a bunch of week pansy's none of you could even last a day in the army" And when you might think he would just keep going on an on it takes a turn on you when he sees. "But ..... some of you will be able to move on and go to higher ranks than this. You'll be able to move to the city and be able to do your job their. You will be able to be free from this life." After that twist in the book, this may make you think about what ells might happen in the book latter on witch would make most people not wanna stop reading it because of that fact.

Although this book has a lot of interesting parts in it that makes it interesting in a way their are a few parts in this book that might seem a little bit boring because the author might just make the book keep going on and on with just have the character's talking. Just because of that the author makes the slow parts some of the most important parts, Because if you read them wrong you could miss something. Than when it comes to that part you don't under stand whats going on anymore.

I believe that this book might be able to be a suspense. You could also think this about the book if you read the book. Because the people in this book are not all happy. There are some people in this book that might seem like they are sad or mad. These people are sad because in the book Among the Hidden these families are only allowed to have up too two kids. But sadly for them Even though that’s a law there are some people that had three or more kid’s a little bit before the law was passed and when the govern meant had ordered to have all the population police kill all the third child in the families. But instead of letting the population police kill their kids some, or all of the parents hid their kids from the police when ever they came. A lot of the family's didn't think that this law was fare for them. They had kids so just because the government don't have kids why should everyone ells lose some of their kids? What the family don't know is that the 3rd children are making a plane to stop this law but on the way to that goal they are in a bit of a situation because when they all finally leave their homes the population police are finally able to them all and when they get to the . To me I don’t get why they need to kill all the 3rd kids of the families. That little law could make the world less populated and even though that might have been good or might be good if that had happened right now we might be killing some kids that could make this world a better place.

Although there are many parts of this book that you think might be a bad thing or bad idea, Like for example the kids want to go down to the government and protest agents the law. That idea is a good one because their standing up for what they believe in but yet I don’t think they planed it through. I’m saying this because if you’re a kid that knows they need to hid from them and you know that if they find you they will harm you. So why would you go down to the main area of the place where they mad the law they are just going to do what they where ordered to do before. They are going to have to kill you otherwise the people in the government are going to think that you are braking a law, Witch you are and they just might send you to jail. I think that if they might have had a better way like they could have planned a way to get into the building and try to talk to someone that is very power full in that area and try to convince them to make the law go away.

Even though they might have done that or something simpler than that to get the people to stop the law they might have also failed at that too. If you think about it, Any way that they might go about this situation they still might not be able to change it the best that might be able to do is just stay inside the house. At least that way they will still be able to live and they wont have to make their parents and family sad. Even though they wont be able to do normal stuff like everyone ells for a long time hopefully in the mean time they stop the law any you wou8ld be able to live a normal life.

Holidays

Their are only a few holidays in one year, Some of those holidays are Christmas, Easter, thanksgiving, valentines day,and their are still5 more holidays. But sadly we do not get out of school or off of work on some of these holidays. The only holidays that we can get off on are ones that are really real ones like Christmas and Easter. Holidays like valentines day some people might think that we should be able to get off on all of them. But the people in the govern meant might be thinking the same thing but yet if they did this for all the holidays people would be losing more and more money witch means that they would be losing more money that goose to the city to help it threw the construction. So some people are hoping soon that their will be a change and everyone get off on the holidays. It could also be worthless to even try to.

What do you think that the author was/is trying writ about in this book?

In all good books there is just the perfect amount of all the types of stories like action parts slow parts weird parts and confusing parts. in it to so that you will always be thinking about what will happen next. This book is a really good one it makes me want to keep on reading it all day long. Their is a lot of parts in the book that just kept me into it. In some other book’s that I would read there are parts in that book where it just makes u want to put the book down. Sometimes is do something ells besides reading so that I wont get to board with that part of the book. If the author had put it all this other different stuff in the story, It might have been way different in a bad way. To me I think that If their was anything different in how it was written their might not be any thing that could possible interest me. I would probably no even really car about the book that much into it. Even though I don’t really like a lot of books I was surprised about how good this book was.

Have you ever felt like you have something in common with the story you are reading?

When ever I read a book there is always a part in their that make me think about my life and how it is kind of alike to the book. Their always has to be something that people have in common with the book that is what the author is trying to do is try to get you to think about your life. He will also try to get you thinking what you and the book/story/people in the book might have in common. Some times there is a lot that one person and the story have in common. But when you think about it you got to usually have a pretty weird life to be able to have something in common with a book or someone in the book. Some one might say this because not a lot of people are able to do a lot of things to get them into weird problems. When someone sees that they really like the book because there is a lot of stuff in it that remind their life as a kid it sometimes mean that when they where young they had a very special family and or they are just making it up trying to be cool.

When you read a book do you usually ask a lot of questions?

When ever I read a book there is always a time that I have to ask my self question there might be something that ketches my eye. It also could just not make any since to me. When I read their might have been something that I might thought was wrong. Other wise it was because their might be a big and or complicated word in it. I might fell the need to ask someone or look in the dictionary on how to pronouns or what the word means. For anyone that reads a lot they know that there is never a time while reading a book when you wish someone was reading with you. You know what its like to read all alone and you never really liked it that well and you just want to be able to spend time with someone. It might fell weird having to read all by your self because your used to being with someone but at this time no ones by your side.

My 91st b-day

My 91st b-day

It’s my 91st b-day and my family is going to throw me a party. I really do not even want one. I mean come one I’m 91! All I want to do is sit at home, talk and eat food. Is that too much to ask for? I think not. Being 91 is great accomplishment I guess! I want to be 120 though. Probably would be better because I most likely would not be alive! I am really old. So why in the world would I want to hang out with annoying & loud young people? They are just right out mean and they hurt my ears really badly! I hate loud people.

On x-mas day you know that you get really excited to open presents and see family. Once you do you go back on the couch and watch t.v. Then you play with your toys but your cat ate them. He ate them, Than got lots of hair balls. He threw chunks on hiss dead mom.

Whenever a fire happens it always makes me feel sad because I think that what will happen to the people that lived or worked in that building? Will they be able to live with they be able to take care of their family? All these things might also go through your mind because you might wonder what would happen if your job started on fire. If your house started on fire would you be able to go anywhere for a while you were looking for a new house? What would you do if you couldn’t get a new job after your old one was burned? Sometimes you might fell like your already deep. What might happen if you lost anything more?

Whenever we have snow stores we all know that we wont have school because there is a lot of problems when you go on the streets. You might not be able to go to school when your stuck in snow or stuck in some slush that’s on the ground. That their kind of makes it harder for some people with bad cars or trucks to get around with a lot of snow. Their wells are not that good when dealing with ice or snow in the winter. But some times we have to deal with it because there is just nothing we can do about it when not everyone can buy snow good wells.

When someone tells me that we will be getting snow I always hope that we will be getting a snow day. I hate it when we have to go to school and it is frizzing cold outside. When we have to go home it is always so cold when we walk to the busses. It is snowing it makes it much harder to walk while snow is bashing you in the face all the time. When you know that we are not going to have a snow day it kind of bums you out because than you know you got to go to school and you got to deal with the snow. For the fact that you will be frizzing if you have to walk really far. What I think is that its worse for the people that have to walk farther when it snows but the less you have to walk it’s the better. There is no distance just have to take a few steps and by the time you’re there you have a tone of time to just chill out and relax. You get to watch all the other people just walk to their busses which is ways father than you will ever have to walk.

What do you think about think about?

When I read this book I thought about what this author might have been think or trying to say, because it seems like he is trying to make it so that we start thinking. He is saying to think about, if we have ever had someone throw us into the pool while we where still little kids. When some bigger kid just picked us up and threw us into the water with us not even prepared to take a breath or be able to get ready to swim. From the bottom of the pool to the top so that we could make sure we wont die.

But they don’t even think about that they just think about how funny it is to watch a little kid trying to get to the top of the pool and freaking out not being able to breath because we can’t swim. While we are panicking so much that we wont be able to concentrate. The author is also trying to get you to think about what would have happened if I wasn’t able to swim to the top. No one was their to pull me up? Would I have had to go to the hospital would I be dead right now?

But sometimes this book makes you think that what if I went unconscious or I was thinking something had happened but that really didn’t. Their was another world that I had went to in my dreams that this might have happened to me. I did the same thing that this little girl did. But when it was done I had found out that I was just in a daze and their was really nothing wrong with me. Not even the pool but that still mad you not want to want to go into the pool ever again in your life.

Why do you think that kino believed that this pearl could be the GRATE pearl and be worth thousands or maybe millions?
In this story that John Stein Beck wrote The Pearl: Kino was the one who mostly was thinking about that pearl is, or was special. Kino thinks thought this because of the way that when he found it the pearl was able to heal Kino's son’s wounds. He didn’t even think about the fact that something ells could have healed his son or something. If that where me, I would have thought first because he put some special healing cream on the wound of his son.

Then he just finds the pearl and the wound is all gone. I think it might be a mistake that this “Magical peal” was really worth nothing and everyone just thought it was. It may have been clean and really shiny but It could also be a bad luck pearl. I say this because of the things it did to their family. It could be what they thought It might be it could just be a normal pearl and everyone might just be getting fulled for no reason.

When the baby healed from the scorpion sting I thought that it might have actually been the pearl. After reading that chapter a little more it seems like it could be the sea weed and that remedy that they had put on the baby to help it . Even in the middle of the book why would someone with a tone of practice with looking at pearls just say it worth a low amount of money unless it is. I know that these people might always try to trick the people in the village out of money or something but Maybe the author tried to make it seem that way.

Like the pearl buys knew it was worth a lot but once they saw the real pearl. They probably thought that he was just trying to scam him out of big buck so they would counter the scam. For all we know the pearl could have been fact and Kino could have been lying. Unless if they were really lying just because the pearl was really shiny it could have been worth a lot of money but not as much as kino thought.

They could have been telling the truth about how much it was worth or they might have taken down the price by like 1 or maybe 200. I don’t think that someone would try to fool someone with money if they really wanted something that someone ells had. I think they would give him the right amount for it. If they really didn’t think that it was worth that much they might not have even gave him the offer that big.

If Kino had just taken the number of money that the pearl buyers gave him he might still be able to have a lot of money and send his kid to school. Get a better house for his family and all the other things that he was gonna do.

I don’t get how the pearl buyers think that the pearl is only worth so much when Kino thinks the pearl could be worth more than 200 thousand. Even though Kino didn’t know that much about reading or anything like that he might have just taken the money and had let it be without saying anything about it. From that part of the book to the end where the baby died I think that it was kind of put into a hole. When I read that the pearl buyers planed out the amount of money that they where gonna give him I was wounding what ells they planned.


Their fore, the book seems like everything they went through was planned by the pearl buyers. After he found the pearl I wonder if they had lead kino and his family to leave the village so that they could get him to hate the pearl and give it up for free. But It back fired on them because he just threw the pearl away into the ocean and made sure no one ells would have to go through what they went through.

What i think

When I was done reading The Pearl i thought that this book was actually a really good book because if you like drama, action and more. IF you do like this things the pearl is a really good book for you. In this book you can see that once kino and Juana leave the village they start to get into a lot more trouble.They had to stay away from the people of the town.

All the pearl dealers where gonna give kino way less money than the pearl was really worth and when kino was walking in the woods with Juana and their son they ran into a person who kino had to kill. They didn't know who it was so they thought it might be a wight man and they panicked. After a while kino and his family where in "BIG" trouble because when they where hiding from some trackers. Kino saw the trackers that where out to look for him to kill him and to get the pearl from him. But when kino was gonna kill the tracker on the hours. One of them thought that the baby crying was an animal so he just shot randomly and killed their baby.

Good thing is that at the end of this book kino and Juana where able to go home and kino finally came to his seances and threw the pearl back into the sea. He finally found out that the pearl was not worth as much as it put them threw.

Reflection for the pearl

This book can relate to some people because they might have a kid or they might be a kid that has been injured with a poison in them and they might need a doctor but where they live the doctor wont help them because of the way they act or by the color of their skin. But the book so fare reminds me of when someone in my family got heart by a snake and no one would call the hospitable for them because they probably wounded why they should help him if he wouldn't help then if they where in that condition. I think that the people of the town only called the doctor in the book I think the least they could have done was take Juana to the doctor them selves to show to the doctor that Juana really needs a doctors help.

will The pearl distroy the family

Juana might be think that the pearl will destroy her relationship with kino because since kino found the pearl hes been really protective of it and has been chaining a little bit lately because he is starting to love the pearl a lot more.
The pearl will destroy kino and Juana because when you read in chapter 3 kino really loves this pearl and it seemed like he was actually falling in love with it. But they might also leave one another because it might make kino very selfish and he might start acting like hes the ruler of the world because he has this special pearl.The only way that they might be able to stay to gather is if kino gets rid of the pearl right away be for it is to late.

What makes me fell safe

What makes me fell safe is when all my family is over and no one has to worry about anything . Especially when theirs about 10-15 people at my house. I know that even if something where to happen I know that we would be able to be safe because whose going to come into a house with 15 people in it. It would be bad for them to do that. If their where for something to happen that was bad to me i know that my family would try their best to help me from danger.
When i was little one of my family members died and everyone even the ones not on their side of the family was sad. but even thowe someone had died we where still trying to stay close and make Sher no one ells got heart from bad people.

Their are all different types of stories small stories, long stories, boring stories, funny stories, happy stories, sad stories, and educational stories. There are all these books and more that some people like and some people don’t like. I their weren’t as many books in the world as there is we would probably not be able to know as much as we do know. In all these book’s in the world there is a lot of things that keeps us from doing something that will get us into trouble or make us not wanna drop out of school. But to me my favorite story is the green eggs and ham because i like how it has all those rimes in it and how sometimes it might make someone smile! But i also like that book because of the cool things in it like the fact that their would be weird none house holed animals in a house. or in a tree. but i also like the guy that would keep trying to have someone eat his green eggs and ham.

I think that this story is a romance because there is a lot of singing about someone that is important to you and it seems a bit to good to become true. I think that some other people could say different because of what the people in the movie are doing. I know for a fact that it wont be irony or tragedy because there is nothing in their that would involve someone getting killed or have everything they love taken away from them.

If someone where to say that it is a tragedy or irony they might just be crazy because there is no way that that would be possible for this story. But if they say that it’s a comedy they would be able to say in a few paragraphs and prove their statement on why it’s a comedy better than any thing ells but if you picked romance I think that it would be way easier for someone to write about that.

Some people might think that this story is a irony because when the nanny has to leave the kids they are very sad. They might be able to say something like “I think that this story is a irony because at the begging of it the kids run away. the nanny that was their quits because the kids make her fell like she is not in control of them and she can not do anything to be able to help them or the kids. Than when the family finds the kids anew nanny she is good to them but she must leave because the dad dose not like what she is doing to his kids heads. He thinks that she is poisoning them with silly rimes, poems, songs, and Tung twisters.”

One of the reasons why most people would pick romance over comedy is because there is nothing funny in it. Or because it is for littler kids so older people/kids might like it but not thinks it’s any funny. When I was a little boy I thought that it was a funny story where I might giggle but I didn’t laugh out loud like everyone ells. But now I think that this movie is ok where I didn’t do any thing but watch it.

When I think of the story (“Marry Poppens”) it reminds of a really fictional story because it has a lot of people flying and popping into holes. But it also reminds me of an opera because there is always a lot of people sing and dancing all over the place. But when I see the movie I think about a lot of things like if it was kinda like real life sometimes cause we don’t always know if someone ells around the would just bust out singing at every second of every day.

Christmas (family time)

On the day of Christmas everyone in my family fly’s from where they were at and come to my house. It is always a big thing because this is the only time in the year when we can all see one another together as a family. At my house we do presents but we are mostly just having fun talking with each other that we don’t open them till the end of that everyone is their so that be for everyone leaves we can all say our thanks. I think that our Christmases are getting better and better because we are not seeing one another for a long time so we can just ketch up and be able to hear what has been happening lately in each other’s lives.

Even though we all live in different countries and cities we still sometimes talk to each other on a chat room with our cameras and we mostly just sent letters back and forth. I think that this Christmas is goanna be grate because we just moved and we are goanna be able to have more fun with even more of my family coming over. I think that some of my relatives are actually goanna be spending the night over at my house. That is goanna be the best part because my family is always funny.

We will be able to have a bit more fun with them be for they have to go. When my relatives leave It might be a very sad thing because we where having to much fun. :D

Bad Day

The Bad Day

It was a bright day when the people of the town where all very quiet walking on the streets and minding their own basins. When all of a sudden there was a loud noise that sounded like a thousand plains flying in a line. As the plains flew over the city they where dropping bomb's that made everything go so bight that you couldn’t see anything but Witness. Than all of a sudden you could feel gusts of wind and hear huge explosions a mile away and as you tried to run they would just get closer and closer. It was hard to hear everyone because of the loud bomb’s going off every 5 seconds.

But lucky after a few hours they had stopped bombing us and went away for a while. But than not even 10 minutes later their where more planes coming but lucky for us they where on outsides because they had where able to come out of the plain to talk to us and say everything will be ok but we knew it wouldn’t. That day we lost over half of our population to the people injured in that attack but we also had a lot of people move out of the town because they didn’t want it to happen to them agen.

It has been about one year scenes that had happen and lastly we have been able to get more people to come back to the city. Day by day we try to rebuild the homes and buildings they where destroyed and it is starting to look like the old town agene. We even have anof money to build more things and be able to give more people jobs. But every now and than there is a plain that comes over the city. But lately we have been getting better at dealing with that because we would get a little scared because that would make us think its going to happen to us agen. If it where up to me I would make it so that no plains could get into this city after what the people in those plains did to us.

Hour's

Every hour It gets better and better because we get closer to the end of the day and after 24 hours we get closer to the weekend and away from school. I think that if you keep your self busy during the school days the hours will go much fast rather than you just sit in your one seat and do nothing all day long. And the faster they days go the faster the weeks go to than so forth if you keep it up you will be able to have the end of the year coming be for you know it.

Chocolate

Chocolate is a good and delicious treat for people to eat. Sometimes to say sorry to someone that u made mad. Or to try and get them to like or love u agen or for the first time. Some people just like to eat it or not like it. but it is most common in cookies and milk.

sports

Sport’s!
Everyone like sports they all are almost the same but are played differently. They all have a good team that everyone is rooting for and there is one bad team that everyone doesn’t like but a few people do. Most people like football, baseball, and basketball the most because they have the 3 best teams on them. Not a lot of people like tennis or other sports like that because they aren’t as exciting. When the people playing and is about to make a shot or a score they don’t have the timer on them and other people surrounding them while you get from one side to the next than make the shot.

Patriotism

What makes patriotism so important?
Patriotism is Important because without it we would probably lose it to someone ells. If we lose the country we wouldn’t be able to have a good life like we do today. If we didn’t have a lot of people that love this country so much we would probably not even be able to do what we like. If we didn’t have people in the war for use we wouldn’t be happy we might be sad all the time.
When we go to school or to our job or any wear we sometimes think of the people in the war. We might be thinking about how nice it is of them to do this for us so that we can live in a good country. But if we don’t at times its ok as long as when the day of the veterans happen you take big care into the people in the war. Some people think that its no point of the war or saying thanks to the people in the war but it is.

Lots of people around the U.S. love the people and thank the people in the war because we have freedom cause of them. But some people could care less and those are the bad people and because of them this country isn’t as strong as it could be. If we had a lot of people that wanted to join the war and not be the bad people who still other peoples things we would have the strongest and gooiest country in the world. But because we have a few bad people we don’t so we are wining to stay a good country but we are not goanna do good soon if it gets worse.
Without patriotism the united states would not be as strong as it could be.
