Text Structure
Authors note: This essay is about the cause and effect in the book Cast Two Shadows.
The father/husband is taken to jail for being a part/the leader of the rebels.
The son/brother is injured in the middle of the civil war and need help.
The Father did not like what the British were doing so he and his group goes and attacks them. He get caught without knowing it was going to happen and is thrown in jail.
The son liked what the British were doing so and now he can’t do anything because of it. he joined. Then was shot by one of the rebellions
The Fathers wife and kids are now worried to death & have to go through so much just to get used to not having him around. They are doing so much to get him out but nothing is doing any good.
The Son's whole family and some of the family friends are very worried that he might me killed and they will never be able to see him agene. Someone has to go out and save him during the war. Although a lot of people love him (even though he’s with the enemy’s) no one want to save him because, they know if they do/try they will surely be killed one way or another.
